We offer a traditional style of worship but in a relaxed style. We love to sing and we place an emphasis on prayer. The preaching is Bible-based, using both the King James Version and the Newly Revised Standard Version on most Sundays. Our Sunday services begin at 11:00 a.m.

Rev. Dr. Kim Strong is originally from Duncan, SC. He and his wife, Margo, have been married for 42 years and have two sons, Matthew and Jonathan. They also have five grandchildren: Andrew, Kylee, Jonathan, Jacob, and Carolina.
Rev. Strong is a graduate of Wofford College, Emory University, and Erskine Theological Seminary. He also did post-graduate work at the Harvard Divinity School, the University of Valencia, and the Berklee College of Music. Rev. Strong is a writer, having published many articles in the South Carolina Methodist Advocate. Since 1979, Rev. Strong has served multiple congregations across the state of South Carolina, including his present-day congregation here at the Joseph B. Bethea United Methodist Church. |
